The Campfire
Pull up a chair. The map is useless, but the stories are fresh.

Where the Story Begins
Welcome, traveler.
You’ve stumbled upon the campfire : the place where stories, detours, and half-finished quests come to rest for a while.
Here, I share the tales that didn’t go as planned: the critical fails that turned into lessons, the side quests that changed everything, and the quiet moments in between.
So take a seat, warm your hands, and stay a bit. Every spark here holds a story. And maybe one of them will light something in you too.
Welcome to the hearth. This is the central hub for the latest dispatches from The Wayfarer. Whether you’re looking for a deep dive into cultural lore or a quick update from a recent “Side Quest,” you’ll find the newest entries below.
“Things Did Not Go as Planned”
You’ve found your way to the hearth of a repatriated soul. After years living on the Emerald Island, I decided that it was time to end this adventure and start a new chapter. And this is how, I have returned back home, in France.
It is now January 2026. Seven months into this transition, the “Main Quest” (the job hunt and the move to the big city) is going way slower than intended. But around this campfire, we don’t mourn the detours and the changes, we celebrate them. This is a chronicle of a life lived off-script, focusing on the lore found in the waiting and the resilience forged in the silence.

No dramatic revelations (unfortunately), no heroic feats. Just steady practice, small reminders that growth doesn’t announce itself and requires time (I have a lot), patience (lacking sometimes…

Chapter One: The Starting Point
In July 2025, I left a life in Ireland that was painted in shades of emerald rain and silver-grey mornings. I packed years of memories into a few suitcases, carrying with me the masteries I had earned abroad: a new language, a foreign career, and the quiet confidence of someone who had learned to navigate…
